From a Brooklyn Street Corner, a Women’s Cleaning Cooperative Grows

Great article in today's New York Times about Latina day laborers in New York City that formed a cooperative business - Apple Eco-Friendly Cleaning. The women in the cooperative now earn about twice as much per hour, and under better conditions.
